General Tso Chicken

General Tso Chicken is one of my favorite Chinese Dish. I cooked it a week ago with different batter mix and it turned out way better than anything. Here's my recipe:

2 pieces of chicken breast cut into bite size (let it sit for 30mins with salt + pepper + garlic powder)
1 egg
1/2 cup tapioca starch
1/2 cup corn strach
1/2 cup sweet rice flour
Mix everything together then fry the chicken for 10 mins in a temperature of 350F
Let it rest for 5 mins then fry it again for another 10mins.
This process will make your chicken extra crunchy.

Sauce:
1 teaspoon of Garlic paste
1/2 teaspoon of Ginger
2 tablespoon of Hoisin Sauce (you can find it at the Asian market)
2 tablespoon of Sugar
1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce
2 tablespoon of soy sauce
1 teaspoon of powder chicken bouillon or chicken stock
1/2 cup of water ( if you're using chicken stock then don't add water)
1 tablespoon of rice vinegar
1 teaspoon of corn starch
Mix all these ingredients on a bowl

Fry the garlic + ginger + dried chili (optional) with vegetable oil, then add the sauce. Let the sauce cook. Then add the fried chicken. Then add the green onion (cut green onions 1 1/2 inch long) and add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. Cook for 1 min and take it out.

Optional for garnish:
Steam broccoli
Sesame seeds

I hope you like this recipe. Enjoy!
